frotz software package provides interpreter of Z-code story-files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install frotz
frotz is installed in your system.
Make ensure the frotz package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep frotz *
You will get with frotz package name, version, architecture and description in a table
